Karina is originally from Coalinga, but has moved around from Hanford to Madera, and is currently living in Fresno. She loves living in a bigger city!
She graduated from Fresno State in Spring 2022, with a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication in Broadcast Journalism. Karina also has her Associate degree in Communication from West Hills Community College Lemoore. She made a lot of amazing memories in college and has met her closest friends there.
When Karina isn’t in the studio, she loves to travel with her fiancé to new cities and explore eating new foods. She loves to visit her family in Hanford and spend time with them. She enjoys going out with her friends to the movies, lunch, or shopping. You can say she’s a bit of a gym freak that loves to get those gains!
Karina found her passion for radio and has pursued her career and lifelong dream. She started off doing the Morning Traffic and now is the producer for the Greg & Dre Morning Show. You can also hear her on the radio on Sundays from 12pm-4pm. She is very thankful for this opportunity and being a part of Q97.1!
